‘Nightfall’ is a dark, atmospheric hybrid track melding solo strings and piano with strong rhythmic electronic synths and pads, building up to a dramatic back-end.
I rarely write tracks which feature heavy electronic percussion, because I just think I’m rather bad at it. But you don’t get better without practice, so here we are! It was a challenging to track to write and mix, but I like its “zombie apocalypse meets spy thriller” vibe.

Scott! This is awesome!
It’s been a while. Really great to listen to your music again. Reminds me a bit of Skyfall.
The percussion isn’t as bad as you think, haha. I like how reserved it is – pushes an underlying tension. Hope you’re well.
